It’s not enough that I write about web hosting providers in my detailed reviews. Of course, this helps provide the factual side of things. For instance, feature sets, pros and cons, and even price points are easily drafted into blog posts.
And since I take great care to examine each host from the inside out, it should come as no surprise that I feel 100% confident that anyone looking to choose a new hosting provider for their website has all the information needed to make a good decision after reading my reviews.
But what I also know is that there’s more to hosting providers than just the raw data. After all, just because a company claims they have stellar customer service, the lowest prices around, or the speed and security to make websites perform at their best, doesn’t make it true.
In fact, it’s often real life experiences that provide the most insight into whether a hosting company is worth going with or not.
That’s why I’m taking the time to interview actual customers using hosting providers to get a behind-the-scenes look at how they really perform.
What I Am After
I want to hear things like how reliable your web hosting services are, what dealing with customer support is like, and how your website performs in terms of speed and uptime.
And in return for talking to me, I’ll give you exposure to our loyal readers.
In fact, your interview will appear on its own dedicated page, complete with links to your website, social media account, and a profile picture of you.
I’m serious about those I interview because I want to give my readers the best information possible so they can make the best decisions possible.
I’m only looking for quality interviewees that can be truthful about their experiences with dealing with their web host.
With that said, here are my interviewee rules:
- Interviewee MUST be an existing customer of a web host.
- Interviewee MUST have at least 6 months experience with their host, with 12 months being ideal.
- Interviewee MUST be somewhat knowledgeable about web hosting and being a webmaster.
The Interview Process
During each interview, you can expect me to ask unique questions regarding your web hosting experience.
I’ll want to know who you are and a little about your website. And of course, I’ll want the insider’s scoop on how your hosting provider is panning out for you.
I’ll send a doc with a handful of questions so you can fill them out on your own time. Once you send them back, I’ll add some finishing touches and only publish with your final consent. In all, this should only take about an hour of your time.
Does this sound like something you’re interested in participating in? If so, contact me today and let me know your website URL, web hosting provider, and how long you’ve been with them. And please, feel free to ask me any questions you might have.
I believe in giving website owners all the information available so that they can make informed decisions. However, it’s important to note that while I do strive to provide you the most accurate information possible, I am affiliated with most of the hosting provides here. This means I earn a small commission when you sign up through my affiliate links.
I’m in search of real life opinions about the hosting providers I review. And I find that the best way to do this is to talk directly to existing users. Of course, the users I chat with are webmasters and web developers, so they know what it takes to host a successful website and what makes a hosting provide good, or bad.
If you want to share your thoughts on your own hosting provider, please get in touch and let me know about your web hosting experience.
